Philippe Buhannic

Founder and Chief Executive Officer

Philippe Buhannic is an industry pioneer in global markets and financial technology. With a career spanning over 30 years, he is a widely recognized thought leader in derivatives, electronic trading, risk, wealth management, clearing and prime brokerage, as well as electronic customer information systems.

In 1999 Buhannic co-founded TradingScreen, and he served as the CEO until May 2016. While at TradingScreen, he built the company into a universal platform for global trading, which included the largest EMS in the world with more than 10,000 screens sold worldwide. Under his direction, TradingScreen maintained its status as the leader in all of its business segments and as the technology leader.

From 1995 to 2000 he served as a Managing Director at Credit Suisse First Boston (CSFB) in New York, where he handled listed derivatives, prime brokerage and e- commerce across asset classes. He created and implemented CFSB's e-commerce products, including the “Prime Family” which received industry accolades as a successful attempt at global distribution of electronic, multi-asset asset class transaction processing via the internet.

From 1993 to1995 Buhannic served as Chairman and CEO of Fimat Futures USA, Inc. (Fimat), the subsidiary of French investment bank Societe General, where he was credited with establishing Fimat as a viable and profitable player in the US marketplace.

From 1987 to 1993, Buhannic was the deputy CFO of Credit Commercial de France, where he oversaw the development of the foreign exchange dealing rooms outside of Paris and the global marketing of FX and interest rate products.

He holds a MBA from New York University's Stern School of Business and a degree in Finance and Taxation from Institut d'Etudes Politiques de Paris. He speaks English, French, Spanish and Portuguese.

Since its founding in 1992, CBM Group has advised over 70 leading banks, securities firms, insurance companies, asset managers, exchanges, clearing and settlement institutions, market data services, rating agencies, and technology businesses related to finance.

CBM has been active in the US/Canada, Europe, Japan and emerging markets of Latin America and Asia. Areas of specific expertise include: credit risk management, capital markets infrastructure, salesforce management in the securities and life insurance sectors, the evolution of financial systems in emerging economies, financial guaranty and credit derivatives.

Pierre-Antoine Boulat

Pierre-Antoine Boulat is currently Head of IT Solution Management at a global asset servicing financial institution in London. Previously he worked at UBS Asset Management as Head of the Operations and IT Global Program Office (2006-2011) and Head of Fund Services in Luxembourg (2011-2017), responsible for the successful development the full value chain (Fund Administration and Transfer Agency) offering to institutional and quasi-institutional (Wealth, Family Offices, Financial Intermediaries, Asset Managers, Banks) client delivery and relationship management franchise in the market as well as the availability of a commercial, profitable and high quality capability offering using innovative operating models.

Prior to joining UBS Asset Management, Pierre-Antoine managed the Global Operational Risk and Program Office at Citigroup Asset Management. He joined Citigroup from TradingScreen, an application service provider for institutional electronic trading, where he served as chief operating/financial officer from 2001 to 2004. Prior to 2001, Pierre-Antoine worked at JP Morgan Investment Management in London and New York as risk manager, program manager, head of internal consulting and COO of Fixed Income.

Pierre-Antoine is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP). He hold degrees from ScPo Paris, Paris II-Panthéon Assas (Business law) and Paris IX-Dauphine (Logistics).

Olivier Lavedrine

Advisory Board Member

Olivier is the CEO of Pennel & Flipo since 2001, a world leader in high-tech rubber fabrics for inflatable boats. He created its own fund in 1997 in private banking. He was the managing director of multiple financial institutions (ODDO, Stettner, CCF…) in different areas (Private Banking, Asset Management). During his career at CCF he was the CFO and head of capital markets. Olivier graduated from HEC with an MBA from INSEAD.
